Los Angeles–based artist Niqui Carter creates abstract photographic works that explore atmosphere, color, and the emotional architecture of space. Rooted in a painter’s sensitivity to composition, her practice transforms light, texture, and shadow into images that feel both immersive and meditative.
Her work has been placed in private collections, hospitality spaces, and institutional environments, including the MET Executive Offices, Bank of America, and Room & Board, where her photography has been recognized for its ability to bring calm, depth, and visual resonance to interior spaces.
Across series spanning color fields, botanical layering, human presence, and architectural abstractions, Carter’s work examines how memory, material, and environment shape perception. The result is a body of work that moves fluidly between fine art, design, and lived space.
She is also the founder of Art On All Forms, an extension of her practice that brings select works into collectible open editions and design-forward objects.
